I came across your website when I was doing a little follow-up research about the Mani in the wake of reading a travel book by Patrick Leigh Fermor (Mani: Travels in the Southern Peloponnese) and the blog post I was writing about it (http://philturton.dscloud.me/wordpress/2016/03/04/of-the-mani-manhattan-and-alexander-the-great/). It’s a lovely book and made me want to visit the place, especially as it now seems much more accessible than when at the time Leigh Fermor first visited! He liked the Mani so much he built himself a house near Kardamili and lived there. Anyhow, loved the pictures on your site and the information, very useful. Thanks.
Very useful informaion, thank you. I should however like to know yow I can download a map of Kardamili. I haven’t yet found one which marks a footpath from there to Kalamitsi Beach,
